I had to skip class.

I woke up this morning and was fine for all of ten minutes before I started shaking uncontrollably and throwing up.

I'm not sick. Just over tired. I pushed myself too much this weekend.

But it was SO worth it.

I have no voice.

Chiyo-chan called someone a "pussy" yesterday, and she didn't even know what it meant. I lol'd, and then I had to scold her for using such language. 8|

My scythes are looking pretty awesome if I say so myself. I think they may be a bit too tall, though. I think I'll cut more off the handle before I paint them. They need another layer or two of Mod Podge before I paint them. I also need to straighten my wig. It curled a bit since AWA and I'm not sure how.

I couldn't find a white vest for Kimbley, but I did find this silver one that is pretty damn classy. It suits him, so I'm going with it.

Rayflo is just fabulous.

I'm going to freeze my ass off in regular Germany. Hopefully I'll stay inside in that.

It just occured to me that I should probably pack white underwear what with the fact I'll be wearing WHITE pants the majority of the weekend 8|

Why must it be cold and rainy out today?

I kind of forgot that I changed my layout last night. So I was kinda lolshocked to see Altair staring at me instead of Mitsuhide.

So, I've made a big decision.

I'm dropping a couple of my big projects next year (ie, Soma, sadly Evil!Sara, and a couple of my original characters).

And I'm picking up an even bigger project.

I am making both Altair and Ezio from Assassin's Creed and ACII. Assassins Creed is one of my favorite games, EVER. And I have no doubt that the second one will be no different. I am SO excited to play it. I was practically droolig over the collectors edition and the strat guide today at work. And god knows I'm going to scour eBay for that statue that came in the Collectors Edition. The artbook too.

But, I want a partner in crime, if you will.

I want some one to wear one costume while I'm in the other. So that we have Altair and Ezio around each other at the same time. It would be KICK ASS.

But, I'm going to be picky about said partner. If you want to do this with me. I need someone who is similar to me in size. This is because I will only be making one of each costume, and both of us are going to have to fit into them. Second of all, I need someone who is willing to help me with these costumes. They're both extremely detailed (Oh god, Ezio especially. X_x), so they're going to be pretty long processes, and I will probably need help with them. And you'll be wearing them too, if only for a little bit. So, I expect a little help. I also need someone relaiable. If you say you're going to be at the con that I plan to debut these at (which I'm shooting for Dragon*Con), then I expect you not to back out.

I really, REALLY, want to make both of these costumes. And I want to try and make them as historically and character accurate as possible, even if the historically accurate part comes in the fabrics used.

And I would really, really love to have someone else do them with me.

Edit: No, I did not just spend the last 30 minutes that I should have been using to work on a paper to redo my LJ Layout to show how serious I am about this 8|

I am super excited for this weekend.

Though I think I'm looking the most forward to the Vassalord costumes, honestly.

Or just getting to hang out with Cherry again in general. I MISS MAH CHERRY LIKE WOAH.

Usually I take criticism very well. If it's helpful and constructive.

But... when I tell people "Someone hates the way I play Germany..." and I get a resounding, "WHAAAAAAAT?!" in response... kinda makes you wonder...

And then I get to thinking about it. And the more I think about it, the funnier the comment got, and the more solid my reasoning became.

So... because I'm relatively spiteful... And plus I just feel like explaining myself....

I told Cuba about LN America crashing his Hummer in LN Cuba's front yard. And how it caught on fire. And how said Hummer was formerly known as the Freedomobile.

Cuba told me that as of that moment, my car was no longer The Laganns to her. It was the Freedomobile.

So I told her that I had to come up with a name for her car. Her car has now been dubbed the Havanavan.

The midnight opening was... mixed, Monday night.

We had little parachute men that we threw in the air to watch them float down and paper glasses with green lenses that Cuba and I wore around and told everyone that they were the Prestige Edition night vision goggles. Some people believed us and started complaining. We were promptly reprimanded by the German. But then we made him wear them too. He looked smashing.

Then we discovered that there were parachute women as well as parachute men. I made a pair kiss, because they were lovers. Then the German took them away from me. I was quite sad.

Then, when we started to ring people up, the computer I was on crashed on the second customer. ...That was a fiasco. But whatevs. It worked out in the end.

In other news, looks like I'll be able to finish Mitsuhide afterall. \o/

I feel lethargic for some reason.

My knees are bruised and feet are friction burned from dancing on a different floor for a several hours, two days in a row.

Maybe that's why I'm sore. I'm used to dancing maybe an hour and a half, three days a week at most. You'd think it'd balance out. I dunno.

At least we got something accomplished.

I'm going to miss the Ren Faire this year. Mom and Chiyo went this weekend while I was in High Point. Next weekend is the weekend before AUSA, and I can't afford to go. Then the last weekend is AUSA. Sad face. This is the first time in about four years I've missed it.

My sideburns were infurating me last  night. I'm trying again today. I might actually be able to make more headway on my costumes this week, whcih I meant to this weekend. Well we see how that worked.

I was incredibly moody this weekend too. I'm not sure why... I'm stressed over something. Which is nothing new. I just have to figure out what.

I kind of inadvertantly started the first real arguement between Bruder and I Saturday night, because of it. It was pretty vicious... But our rebound was really quick... Not even a minute later, it had never happened. I guess it shows how close we are. I think we're like Jordan and I were supposed to be (only ages reversed). She kinda has filled that void my sister left behind when she "disowned" me (because I'm... "weird". Oh heaven forbid.)

We watched this movie called Funny Games. The main antagonist reminded me of Barry. Just in his mannerisms and the way he talked. It was twisted. I liked it.

Gilbert totally got Ludwig weed for his birthday. I lol'd.

Oh yeah. Happy Birthday, LN Ludwig.

I have a midnight opening tonight for Call of Duty. The German is working with Cuba and me. I don't know how that man is going to survive. Then again, he knew what he was getting himself into when he made the schedule.

I really need to stop sleeping through my alarm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'm not quite sure how it happens. but at least once a week, I sleep through it. I think I might start having mom poke her head in and yell at me to wake up before she leaves, since that's usually when I need to wake up. And I don't think she'll turn down another opportunity to yell at me.

I also realized last night that I am far too cynical for my own good. It's not very becoming. But oh well. Let me fill you in an what it is I'm ranting about this time.

My bed was incredibly warm this morning. I didn't want to get out of it before class, so after my test, I came back home, and got straight back in it. I think I slept for another hour or two, and then didn't want to get back out. So I kinda just curled there in a little Ria ball and laid there for another 30 minutes.

Iggy, I just want you to know, every time I look at my phone, I see Ollie in his lobster costume, and I smile.

I meant to get pictures in what I have of Germany. But I didn't have time. Whatevs. It's pretty fail for right now anyway. I'll be better... and actually complete... at Katsucon or AZ.

I was going to post an entry rampant with self loathing induced by my wonderful mother, how I loathe my assistant manager, and how the most annoying group of customers came into the store tonight and infuriated me to the point I wanted to punch something, and other such things...

And then something beautiful happened.

And I think from 8:30 to about 9:15 tonight was probably the best 45 minutes of my life.

It was during that time that I drew this. And this image, couple with the lively bout of customers we had that came in during that time made my bad day dissipate. It all seemed so trivial after that.

Cuba, this is why I love working with you. You make me smile, and you inspire me to draw silly  things, and the most interesting things happen on the nights I work with you.
